Northport Raceway
Northport Raceway is a 3/8 mile clay oval located 1 1/2 miles north of Northport WA. or 9 miles south of the Patterson crossing in Canada. The track, founded in 1953 is in it 56th year of operation. This track is one of the two remaining dirt tracks in Eastern Washington.The view for the fans has not changed much over the years, as they are still able to watch the racing action from their tailgates while barbecuing. This is part of the unique draw of this track. After the day is done the fans can come down to the pits and talk with their favorite driver and cheer as the trophies are handed out. There are special events throughout the year and several Open Competition races were everything goes. There is food and lodging available in Northport. The next closest town, Kettle Falls, WA. is a beautiful 35 mile drive to the south along Lake Roosevelt with some of the most spectacular views. We are home to Modified, Super Stock, Fever - 4, and Hornets. Come join us for some dirt slinging, adrenaline pumping fun. The racing season runs from the end of April to the end of October, with special events for other motorsports throughout the year. |
