Northport Transfer Station

The Northport Transfer Station (the dump) is a approximately 1 mile south of Northport on State Highway 25. The property is owned by the Town of Northport and leased to Stevens County. The station was opened in November 1982. The station receives approximately 239 tons of solid waste per year with an average daily vehicle count of 25. The area surrounding the transfer station site is timberland.

There are recycling bins available for clean paper, tin cans, and plastic milk jugs.

Libraries of Stevens County - Northport Library

The Northport Community Library is one of the eight libraries in the Libraries of Stevens County. The Northport Library provides free high speed Internet and wireless access for the public, access to hundreds of thousands of books, movies, magazines, as well as special events for all ages. All of the libraries in Stevens County are free and open to the public.

Community Room available for rent by 1/2 day (5 hours or less) $25.00 or full day $35.00.
